As an interior design consultant, I have heard all the complains about designers.
The key is to find a designer who will work for YOU. YOUR house need to reflect YOU. Not someone else.
Having a background in flooring, tile, and counter tops helps me understand how to build someone's style for them, rather than building off of my own style.
If you don't like a material in the store, you won't like it at home!
